Metrics agreed before we start
Every activation gets numeric targets: encounters, samples, content volume, reach or sales. The report is compared against those numbers.
Openings and PR activations
Two different things with two different metrics: a local activation produces encounters and sales on the street or in store, a social activation produces content and reach. We produce both, and the metrics are agreed before we start. Nordic Event Management has produced 200+ events across 12 countries and ranked 9th among the 13 best Nordic event agencies in 2025.
In brief
Openings and activations
An opening is a single evening measured in guests who attended, media pickups and first-week sales. An activation is a longer period that can be local, social, or both.
We separate them deliberately, because they are measured differently. A local activation is measured in encounters, samples, code redemptions and sales. A social activation is measured in content volume, reach, saves and clicks.
One producer leads both, so the message, imagery and schedule stay identical. In practice the opening evening also produces the content that carries the activation through the following weeks.
Clients are restaurant and hotel brands, retail chains, consumer brands, and advertising and communications agencies that need a producer to deliver.
Why us
Every activation gets numeric targets: encounters, samples, content volume, reach or sales. The report is compared against those numbers.
Street and terrace permits, power, waste management, furniture, transport and strike are part of the production. City permits usually take three to six weeks.
A photographer and videographer are part of the activation, not a separate order. Material is delivered publication-ready within days.
Creator deliverables, schedules and usage rights are agreed in writing, so the material can also run in owned channels and paid media.
Two formats
A restaurant, store, hotel or office opening: guest list, media, programme, catering and photography. 40–200 guests.
A temporary space or street activation: location sourcing, permits, build, staffing and strike. One to fourteen days.
An activation in a store or department store: demos, samples, staff briefing and sales tracking.
A photo and video package around the activation: vertical video, stills and cutdowns per channel.
6–20 creators with agreed deliverables, schedules and usage rights. A report per creator.
News angle, press release and journalist list when the opening genuinely has news to tell.

An opening that left a mark
In Tampere we produced the opening of the Katto by Saarikoski rooftop alongside Unity Living's third anniversary: 60 invited, 58 attended, 100 regulars and four media pickups. The same structure repeats in activations: a guest list built for the objective, and content that carries the evening into publications.
How it runs
Objective and metric. We decide first what the activation is for: encounters, sales, content or media pickups. The target is written as numbers.
Location and permits. A local activation needs a space and permits; a social activation needs locked locations and a creator list. Both take three to six weeks.
Delivery. Build, staffing, photography and daily tracking under one producer. Adjustments happen during the period, not after it.
Report. Numbers against target, imagery with usage rights, and a recommendation on what to do differently next time.
