A guest list of buyers
We build the list with your sales team: target accounts, decision-maker roles and an alternate name for every seat. Confirmations are called, not only emailed.
Sales-driven PR events · Helsinki
A sales-driven PR event is built backwards from the guest list: who buys, who they need to meet, and what happens the week after. Nordic Event Management has produced 200+ events across 12 countries and ranked 9th among the 13 best Nordic event agencies in 2025.
In brief
Sales-driven PR events
A sales-driven PR event differs from a standard client evening in one respect: the guest list is built from decision-makers, not from a contact database. Twenty right names produce more business than two hundred wrong ones.
The event is designed around meetings. The programme contains named encounters, enough unstructured time for conversation, and a seating plan that puts seller and buyer at the same table without looking staged.
Helsinki is Finland's most buyer-dense city: head offices, investors and media sit within thirty minutes of each other. The same evening reaches more decision-makers here than anywhere else in the country.
Clients for these productions are B2B companies, real estate and construction, technology firms, and agencies producing the occasion on behalf of a client's sales organisation.
Why us
We build the list with your sales team: target accounts, decision-maker roles and an alternate name for every seat. Confirmations are called, not only emailed.
Every key guest has a documented encounter and a point in the evening when it happens. Seating and host roles are agreed in advance.
An invitation needs a subject: a first look, a client case, a guest speaker or a venue that is otherwise closed. Without one, confirmed guests cancel late.
Attendee list, conversation notes and photography are delivered within three working days so sales can continue the conversation the same week.
Formats
12–30 guests, one long table, two hosts. The most effective format when the goal is depth with a few key accounts.
40–120 guests in a showroom, on a site or at the office. Right when the product or the space is the argument.
20–60 guests, 90 minutes, content first. The lowest threshold for a decision-maker and therefore the best first encounter.
A first showing of a product or service to a restricted group before public communication.
An event where the audience is capital and partners. It requires its own messaging and a tight schedule.
When publicity is also wanted, we invite 3–6 journalists and separate the media segment from the sales segment in the programme.
Example
Osteria dei Mancini, Helsinki
For a Helsinki restaurant we produced an invitation event with a guest list built backwards from the target audience: creators, industry professionals and regulars in the same evening. It produced both bookings and content, because the programme forced the encounters to happen.
How it runs
Objective and metric. Before design we agree what the event produces: meetings, requests for proposal, bookings or media pickups. The metric defines the list and the format.
List and invitations. Invitations go out three to four weeks ahead, confirmations are called, and every cancellation has a replacement. Target attendance is 85–95 percent of confirmations.
Production. Venue, food, drink, technology, photography and staff under one producer. The sales team attends to guests, not to logistics.
Follow-up. Attendee list, conversation notes, photography and any media pickups within three working days, followed by a review of what changes next time.
